Abstract

English Abstract: Social networks have emerged as communication tools in a context of leisure and playfulness, but it soon came to be appreciated that they offered many possibilities in the field of education, just like many other Web 2.0 tools. In this paper I will try to analyse the propaedeutic possibilities of these platforms and how they might be applied in an educational context. For this analysis I have used some studies that approach this topic from a theoretical perspective, and others that relate didactic experiences involving diverse subjects and levels of education. The article also takes in some social network-based initiatives in the field of Classical Studies.
