Abstract

English Abstract: China's rapid expansion in the global economy is having important global repercussions. One of them is the attraction by China of a huge amount of foreign direct investment (FDI). In fact, that country has become the first recipient of FDI in the world, with a flow equivalent to 61,000 million dollars in 2004. Given the strong growth in the accumulation of FDI in recent years, China now reaches the third place in terms of accumulated capital derived from FDI, after the United States and the United Kingdom.
