Teaching Corporate Governance in an MBA Class: Challenges and Opportunities

Abstract
The objective of this article is to share our teaching experience of corporate governance courses in a MBA program. Our research approach to document our teaching experience of corporate governance, is based on a collaborative research methodology determined by the collective sharing of memories. After an extensive reflection of our four years of teaching corporate governance in an MBA class, we identify challenges that we experienced and we seize different opportunities to develop our teaching approach. These challenges and opportunities help us to improve our corporate governance teaching and help us better prepare our students for a practical career.
