Abstract
The paper deals with the analysis of features of Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) architecture of the information system. The idea for creating EJB was the desire create such infrastructure in which it would be easy to add and remove components and change server functionality. EJB allows workers to make their own applications using pre-created modules. Possibility to change these modules makes the development process flexible and more rapid. Interaction between clients and the server in this case is represented as interaction EJB object, generated by a special generator and the EJB component written by the developer. We considered the following advantages of EJB architecture: simple and fast creation; Java-optimization; cross-platform; built-in security. However there are the following disadvantages of EJB architecture: the complexity of integration with applications; poor scalability; low productivity; lack of international standardization. We made the conclusion that enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) architecture of the information system can be used in compatibility with CORBA and the Java API.
