Abstract

As we know, In cloud storage network, there is an increase in the numbers of users and machines, due to which, the efficiency of storage node cannot be regulated by the cloud network administrator, which will reduce the efficiency of cloud storage system and it depicts that the network workload as well as the complication of the hardware is also amplified. Thereby, decreasing the performance of the Cloud Storage System. Hence, to eliminate the extra, unnecessary or doubled copies, data De-Duplication method is utilized in cloud storage. To make the transmission node function in an optimal manner, the Index Name Server (INS) framework is utilized. Apart from the above techniques, file compression, chunk matching, feedback control and load balancing methods are also elaborated. With the help of these technologies the cloud storage functional optimization is magnified as well as the file accessing efficiency is improved thereby decreasing the storage node workload.
