Abstract

The sensor network in pervasive computing environment generates a vast amount of data to represent physical and environmental conditions. The sensed data from pervasive computing application suffers from data fault, missing data, inaccurate data and inconsistent data due to unfriendly, harsh environment and resource restriction. In most of the cases, the generated data can be shared among different applications in pervasive environment for increasing the user comfortableness, reliability of the application and achieving full potential of the application. The interoperability problem occurs when diverse applications share the sensed data among them. The shared data plays a vital role in critical decision making. To ensure the trustiness of shared data and interoperability problem, a semantic trust model is proposed. The objective of the work is to introduce the trust based semantic architecture for trustworthy data sharing and interoperability across different pervasive applications. To alleviate the interchange of trustworthy sensed data among diverse applications, five layer trust based architecture is used for interaction.
