Collective Bargaining Under Competition Law Review

Abstract

The applicability of competition laws to collective bargaining has long been debated in the law literature of the U.S. and the European Union.The competition laws, playing a major role in national economic policy, are designed in a way to regulate the structure of markets and to promote competition meanwhile, collective bargaining can also be considered to be among the primary forces shaping the economy. The relationship between collective bargaining and competition, therefore, is an issue of great importance and relevance to policymakers in terms of economic policies. Bearing all this in mind, we aim to explore the relationship between competition laws and collective bargaining throughout this article.
