Abstract

The purpose of this study is to build an application that can be used to analyze sales performance based on transactions and locations. The built application is geospatial business intelligence. The applications built using the Tableu tools and MS. SQL Server 2017. Sales data used is car sales transaction data and location data based on latitude and longitudinal coordinates. The data model built is a data warehouse model that uses star schema with fact tables and dimension tables. The next ETL process is performed to extract data from multiple sources, transform the data in the appropriate format, so that it can be used to build applications and end users can implement it in decision making. The resulting dashboard can be used to analyze sales based on customer dimensions, product, time and location.
