Abstract
The paper is devoted to the PR comparative analysis of peculiarities of the middle class in Russia, Europe, and USA. We based our analysis on the results of conducted by Pew Research Center research. This research was directed on the transformation of class structure in Europe and other countries during 1991-2010 years. Middle class from our point of view is not directly connected to income. It is more connected to the perception of innovative PR - and marketing - ideas. So we couldn’t accept some result of this research. According to this research middle class in Norway is 80%, in Spain - 64%, in Finland - 75%, in Germany - 72%, in Italy - 67%, in USA - 59%, in Great Britain - 67%, in France - 74%, in Denmark - 80%. Thus according to this result, the contingent of the middle class in the USA is less than the percentage of the middle class in Europe, however, the income of USA-citizens is more in comparison to income of Europeans. 26% of USA-citizens are related to contingent of people with low or minimum income. However people with low income in the USA have high medium level of income (23000 dollars for a year).
We made the conclusion that middle classes in the USA significantly differ to middle class in Europe and Russia. So we cannot accept income as only one criterion of the middle class. Middle class has specifics of consciousness and way of life which is needed to take into account during piarological and sociological investigation.
