Abstract

In social relationships we observe the common phenomenon of the oppressor and oppressed and a wide variety of domination techniques. With the advent of feminism the focus has been on identifying the areas of male domination and liberation from such domination. However, we need to take a holistic view of the nature of oppressor-oppressed/dominator-dominated relationships. In the framework presented here referred to as ‘Wisdom Matrix’ we take a matrix approach to get a new understanding of the dynamics and discourse of domination and oppression in social and organizational context.
