Abstract



AEnglish Abstract: Has the objective of identifying social vulnerabilities on the ZIKAV epidemic that occurred in Brazil in 2015. Search realize the main focuses of social vulnerability and possible impacts of the disease on policies for the promotion of women's reproductive health. Develops by means of analysis of the official reports of the Ministry of health of Brazil and of the data presented by the Brazilian Institute of geography and statistics (IBGE). Concludes by pointing to poverty and the lack of basic infrastructure services suitable for the main factor that caused the brazilian outbreak. Describes how the disease affected mostly the northeastern poor women. And weaves considerations environmental racism and the report by the action of unconstitutionality (ADIN 5.581/2016), notably on the protection and defense of reproductive rights, especially the right to abortion.

Portuguese Abstract: Possui o objetivo de identificar vulnerabilidades sociais sobre a epidemia ZIKAV ocorrida no Brasil em 2015. Busca perceber os principais focos de vulnerabilidade social e possíveis impactos da doença nas políticas de promoção da saúde reprodutiva das mulheres. Desenvolve-se por meio de análise dos relatórios oficiais do Ministério da Saúde do Brasil e dos dados apresentados pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE). Conclui apontando a situação de pobreza e a ausência de serviços de infraestrutura básicos adequados para a moradia principal fator que causou a epidemia brasileira. Descreve como a doença afetou majoritariamente as mulheres nordestinas pobres. E tece considerações sobre o racismo ambiental e o relatório da Ação Direta de Inconstitucionalidade (ADIN nº 5.581/2016), notadamente sobre a proteção e defesa dos direitos reprodutivos, especialmente o direito ao aborto.
