Abstract

Romanian Abstract: Prezentul studiu se axează pe studiul articolelor publicate in "Revista 22", "România liberă", și "România Mare" în perioada 1990-1997 despre Regele Mihai și monarhia românească. Structura lucrării are la bază analiza evenimentelor prin care Regele Mihai și familia sa au trecut de-a lungul acestui interval, ca și vizita sa intenționată, dar care nu a reușit în România de Crăciun și Paște 1990, apoi vizita sa reușită de Paște în 1992, când poporul român a venit cu entuziasm în Iași și București să îl întâmpine și momentul martie 1997 când regele primește înapoi cetățenia română care i-a fost retrasă abuziv de leadershipul comunist din România în 1948. Mai mult, am intenționat să analizez opiniile contemporane cu privire la evenimentele familiei regale relevate de ziarul "Adevărul" din perioada 2016-2017. în acest sens, se poate vorbi de normalizarea atitudinilor față de familia regală, deși sunt încă foarte mult speculate în presă orice evenimente ale familiei regale.

English Abstract: The present study focuses on the articles published in the journals "Revista 22", "România Liberă" and "România Mare" during 1990-1997 about King Mihai and Romanian Monarchy. The structure of the paper relies on the analysis of the events through which King Mihai and his family had passed during this interval, such as the intended and not succeeded visits of Romanian Royal family in Romania with the occasion of Easter and Christmas feasts of the year 1990, then on the successful visit of King Mihai and his family in Romania from the Easter Fest from the year 1992, when Romanian people came with enthusiasm in the cities of Iassy and Bucharest to welcome the King, and the moment of March, 1997 when the King receives back the Romanian citizenship which had been abusively taken away from him by the communist leadership of Romania in the year 1948. Moreover, I intended to focus on the contemporary opinions with the view of the monarchical issue by analyzing the online collection of articles of the journal "Adevărul" during the years 2016-2017. In this sense, one can talk of a normalization concerning the the topic of Romanian monarchy, although there are very much speculated in mass media any events of the Royal Family.
