Abstract
The paper deals with the problem of analysis of the role of PR-projection in education of PR-specialists (on the example of Russian region). We concentrated on PR-specialization on the basis of the Department of Journalism of one of the Russian Universities. The project approach has been implemented during the training of students in the specialty “Public Relations”. Modeling and analysis of PR-support options for various situations and topics as training method allow to train a creative approach in the profession, based on the reality of modern PR-students. We proved that the orientation of students to think about large-scale projects allows them to motivate them to improve their knowledge and skills in the field of PR. We made the conclusion that in addition to educational and consolidating functions, PR-projection also performs an educational function: PR-service customers can review the results, which the team and students of the department of journalism have achieved with the use of regional education for the period 2007–2014 years.
