Abstract

The paper deals with the historical analysis of the problem of professional training of PR-specialists. We argue, that PR as a professional field of activity, such as public relations, was finally formed, according to most researchers, by the end of the 1980s — the beginning of the 1990s in Russia. We concentrated on the transition to the practice-oriented quality of RR-education, which implies the need to introduce into the educational process active and interactive methods of education of students, organizing practices and internships through building partnerships with organizations and PR-agencies. In our opinion, the training of PR-specialists has significantly strengthened international relations in the context of global integration processes. We made the conclusion that the preparation professional activities of PR-specialists requires the determination of effective personal characteristics, indicating the quality of the educational process in the university.
