Abstract

Worldwide retinal diseases are found to be frequent cause of vision loss. Early diagnosis of the patient’s Eyes can prevent this. This review paper describes the methodology which uses various image processing and machine learning techniques for the early diagnosis of Glaucoma, Macular degeneration, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Stargardt Disease using fundus images based on its symptoms. These techniques include Image Pre-processing, Localization of Optic Nerve Head, CNN Based Classification of Disease.
