Abstract

Automation and control are the main objectives of internet of things (IoT). IoT is being employed in every sphere field of the world today. The network of devices and systems that feature an IP address for internet connectivity and are able to communicate with each other form the basic concept of IoT. The maintenance of balcony gardens in recent times has become a major concern. Gardening requires a lot of time and effort. Thus, we aim to minimize this by developing a system which caters to the basic needs of garden care takers. The system proposed in this paper is an IoT based system to facilitate monitoring and control of balcony gardens in metropolitan cities.
