Ο αναποδογυρισμένος κόσμος της αριστεράς. Μία κριτική του αριστερού συντηρητισμού και μία πρόταση για την σοσιαλδημοκρατία. (The Overturned World of the Left. A Critique of Left-Wing Conservatism and a Proposal for Social Democracy)

Abstract

Greek Abstract: Εν μέσω κρίσης η αριστερά με την ευρεία έννοια απέτυχε να αυτοπροβληθεί διεθνώς ως εφικτή εναλλακτική πρόταση στο κυρίαρχο ρεύμα του νεοφιλελευθερισμού. Με αυτή την έννοια οι ηγέτες και οι διανοούμενοι της αριστεράς δεν κατάφεραν να αντιπαραθέσουν μία πειστική αφήγηση ενάντια στον νεοφιλελευθερισμό. Κατά συνέπεια δημιουργείται η εντύπωση ότι οι προτεινόμενες πολιτικές της κεντροαριστερές και αριστερές είναι στάσιμες και εν μέρει ταυτόσημες με την υπεράσπιση του status quo,συγχρονισμένες δηλαδή με μία λογική που αποτρέπει την κοινωνική μεταβολή. Κατ’ επέκταση η στάση αυτή της αριστεράς δεν μπορεί να αποτελέσει πρότυπο που θα μπορούσε να πείσει το εκλογικό σώμα ότι αποκλειστικά η νεοφιλελεύθερη λογική αναπαράγει την κρίση.

English Abstract: In the midst of a crisis, the left in the broad sense has failed to present her self internationally as a feasible alternative to the dominant tendency of neoliberalism. In this sense the leaders and intellectuals of the left have failed to unfold with plausible arguments, a reasonable narration against neoliberalism. The logical consequence was that the Left failed to convince the electoral corps that the proposed policies of the neoliberals to deal with the crisis lead to a stalemate and are partly identical to defending the crisis . As a result, the policies of the Left and Social Democrats were portrayed as prescriptions synchronized with a logic that does not lead to democratic social change but reproduces the stagnation.
