Abstract

The aim of this project is to assemble subparts using cylindrical type pneumatic robotic arm, RFID module, ultrasonic sensor, Bluetooth module and IOT device ESP8266. Here RFID module and ultrasonic sensor are used to detect the desired subpart to be assembled on the other. Bluetooth is used for master slave communication and ESP8266 for sending the data collected using sensors to cloud which will serve the purpose of monitoring the product being manufactured. Also the concept of master slave communication can be extended where slaves controlling multiple robotic arm creating wireless sensor node and sending data to master in the control room. Here instead of Bluetooth, Lo-Ra and RF technology can also be used.

Keywords: Pneumatic Robotic Arm, Wireless Sensor Node, Master Slave Communication, ESP8266, RFID module, Bluetooth
