Abstract

This brief chapter surveys the legal regimes governing Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). Specifically, it covers the United States' GPS and the Europeans Union's Galileo systems. In addition to these specific regimes, the chapter identifies a variety of legal issues that arise from GNSS activities.
