Abstract
Enhancing image quality is one of the important factors to access the more accurate information from the medical images. Hence this paper is focused on edge preservation using noise reduction on Computed Tomography (CT) images using thresholding in wavelet domain. The existing schemes are compared with similar and recent schemes and results are also compared with some performance metrics such as PSNR and SSIM.
