Abstract

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth organized an International Conference on ‘Media Ethics’ on the 9th and 10th January 2019 to help journalism students, journalists, and faculty members grapple with these important issues such as: What is media ethics? How can they be used to counter misinformation? What can journalists do to bolster trust in legitimate news sources? How can society more broadly counteract the misinformation that has seeped into so many social platforms?

This volume (http://ssrn.com/link/2019-Int-Conf-MediaEthics.html) reflects the scholarly research
that was presented and discussed at the conference.
