Abstract
The study aimed to identify the Science and Technology Instruction in selected schools in Maguindanao. The respondents were sixty (60) science and technology teachers from seventeen (17) selected high schools in Maguindanao. The statistical treatment used in interpreting and analyzing the data included frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The findings show that typically, science and technology teachers in the Division of Maguindanao are predominantly female, married, and young in age and in service, bachelor’s degree holders; eligible and had attended only a few in-service trainings. The availability and adequacy of instructional materials in science and technology are found wanting in the Division of Maguindanao. Despite the problems besetting the science & technology teachers, they are moderately satisfied with the science & technology instruction and its conditions as well as to their administrators’ support. Students’ participation in the different activities varies in extent.
