Abstract
This study aimed to find the effects of the socio-economic status and peer environment on the Interest in Continuing Education to Higher Education in Vocational Students in Indonesia. The research method used is quantitative research methods. The population in this study were vocational students in Indonesia both from class X, XI, and XII. Data collection techniques used by researchers in this study were by distributing questionnaires or questionnaires. The processing of data in this study uses the SPSS program (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 22 by using validity test, reliability test, normality test, classic assumption test, multiple regression equation, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. The results of the study show that: (1) No there is a positive and significant influence of socio-economic status on the interest in continuing to study in college in students. (2) There is a positive and significant influence of peers' environment on the interest in continuing college studies with students. (3) There is an influence of socio-economic status and peer environment simultaneously on the interest in continuing to study in college in students.
