Abstract
This paper describes the Maximum Power Point Tracking for a Photovoltaic system based on Incremental conduction method and proposes the Particle Swarm Optimization with Ant Colony Optimization algorithm. The proposed control technique reduces the energy losses which is high in the conventional system. This suggested method utilizes less iteration to give a fast response. The proposed algorithm is verified with the MATLAB Simulink tool. The several simulations being carried out and compared with the Perturb and Observe method and Particle Swarm Optimization based algorithm. The simulation results show the proposed method can effectively improve the fast-tracking capability and reduce the energy losses under fast-changing weather condition and Partial Shading Condition.
