Abstract

Providing secured routing from source to destination using security mechanisms is mandate since wireless sensor networks are used in many sensitive applications such as health care, civil and military process, etc. To reduce the computational complexity and to improve the securities among the nodes while routing a mechanism named secured factorial recursive approach is proposed. Here the routes with malicious nodes are identified by their behaviour and if nodes are detected to be malicious then it is removed from the updated route list. The malicious behaviour of the node is identified using factorial recursive function. The sensed data is randomly encrypted at the sender side and decrypted at the receiver side that enables data confidentiality. Security is improved by enabling two level security approaches with factorial based malicious node detection and passing encrypted information. The performance for the security is analysed with the conventional system and the variations are shown with high efficiency.
