Abstract

This paper presents the stability of power supply to the standalone load using wind power generation. MATLAB Simulink tools are used in the simulation of wind power generation. The mathematical models wind turbine, PMSG, Rectifier, DC chopper and three phase inverter. The cuk converter provides the stable output voltage to the standalone load with high modifications in wind velocity. The Space vector PWM based inverter obtains the constant frequency for the stand alone load. The simulated output results are coincides with the hypothetical results. The controllers are used to maintain the constant output voltage.

Keywords: Closed loop controller, Cuk converter and Wind energy conversion system
