Abstract

Since with the revolution of technology on demand the data traffic in today’s environment is increasing day by day due to which the latencies in round trip times of the data packets in the network is on raising which is becoming a major problem for energy expenditure in the future 5G networks. The latest technologies that would perk up the system power competence are exposed to lessen the usage for conventional fossil fuels. In this paper, a variety of 5G techniques are discussed which aims in reducing the energy consumption and also exposed the various challenges for energy efficiency. Various working methodologies are being pointed which helps in revolution of green 5G viz. RF energy harvesting, inductive coupling, magnetic resonance coupling etc. This would be opening for the future realistic vision to not only reduction in non-renewable energy resources but also lessen the carbon contents by shifting towards the awareness for green communication.
