Abstract

This Plant disease identification is crucial to prevent the losses in the yield of the agricultural products. The paper deals with the detection of the plant diseases at the early stage and suggests the preventive measures by providing them the better Pesticide/Insecticide. Also, it suggests the suitable fertilizer if the farmer specifies improper growth of the plant. First, we store the disease affected leaf samples data of various species of plants of a disease, their respective preventive measures in the database. The affected image is given as an input and this image goes through the different processes in Image Processing and the result obtained is then compared with the existing dataset to find the best match and displays the type of disease and preventive measures for it. If the farmer specifies the abnormal growth of the plant, it specifies the fertilizer and other measures to overcome the problem. This approach enlightens the farmers about the current condition of their crops to quickly save their crop to enhance the yield.
