Abstract

The state-of-the-art technology leads to the modernization of the biomedical solutions which results in declining of wired devices and equipment. The IoT-WBAN concept incorporates the implementation of wireless technologies through which global remote monitoring has been made possible by providing an interacting platform between user and professional. The complete system includes various wireless sensor nodes so the design and development of a sensor node should be optimal to meet the requirements. This paper describes the detailed design and development of wireless wearable sensor node of biomedical application which includes the processing unit and data acquisition along with wireless transmission. Apart from this it also includes the local monitoring and power circuit so the need of external power supply is also eliminated.

Keywords: IoT-WBAN, Wireless Sensor node, PCB design, Low power operation
