Abstract

Asset valuation and the methodology, recognised and accepted, to regulate changes in assets’ reporting amounts impact the firm’s formalized value and consequently the meaningfulness of the financial statements and the knowledge they impart on their users. Logically then, a crucial test in financial reporting credibility and reliability on the firm’s real value lies in meaningful asset valuation.
