Abstract
This article analyzes the traditional ‘top-down’ and ‘bottom-up’ international legal models used for mitigation of international anthropocenic disruption in developing countries of the world. The article then showcases a ‘middle-out’ international regulatory model which is one of the few legal models with proven success in multiple developing countries with diverse forms of government structures, then assesses how it integrates well into existing international organizations and international law, and concludes why it is a critical solution in international law.
