Abstract
In this review of Free Speech on Campus by Erwin Chemerinsky and Howard Gillman, I consider the evidence behind the claim that there is a free speech crisis on university campuses; analyze the scope of campus speech rights for students, faculty, and outside speakers; and discuss the options available for university administrators who want to protect free speech while also creating an inclusive environment for an increasingly diverse student population.
