Abstract

Cloud Computing is a computing as a service over the internet. From software applications to development platforms, to computing infrastructures, all these are available as services. Hence, Quality-of-Service (QoS) comes into existence for playing a major role in this domain. This paper proposes a QoS aware selection of servers using QoS Trust Manager (QTM) module. QTM calculates the customer specific trust score for each server before allocation. The assessments are based on server throughput, server response time and tasks execution time using various scheduling algorithms. The simulations of the proposed work were carried out to examine its features and practicability. The proposed method, aims to improve the quality of server selection procedure and performance enhancement.
