Abstract
With an increase in demand for power supply, the resources which can fulfil power requirement along with pollution-free technology have become of paramount importance. Renewable energy sources (RES) have emerged as a viable option that can be used to generate clean power and PV is one of the most emerging players amongst all RES. Proper Coordination between the Grid and PV source is required for smooth operation. In this paper, appropriate control technique is used for providing adequate control via power electronics interface. The DC-DC boost converter is used on the PV side to attain the maximum power from the PV array. DC-AC voltage source converter is implemented to maintain the DC link voltage constant. The parameters are controlled in the d-q frame to make control easier. Voltage control loop and Current control loop is built to maintain power and voltage to the desired limit. The proposed model is developed in MATLAB-Simulink environment.
