Abstract
in this study the authors analyze the provisions of international law on countering nuclear terrorism in connection with Russian criminal law. The article examines several international instruments and the provisions of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation devoted to the nuclear issue and nuclear terrorism. The authors come to the conclusion that the norms of international law on intentional violation of nuclear safety regime should be included in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
