Abstract
The argument has been advanced by some authors and critics of the Pan-African Movement that one of the major causes of the failures of the movement can largely be attributed to its elitist nature and the posture of being male-dominated. This Paper looks at this view and discusses the subject, looking at the organizational structures and representations at the various conferences within the period under study.
