Synthesis and Characterization a Series of Complexes and Their Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production

Abstract

In this paper, a series of complexes [Ni(HNOR)2]n•5nH2O 1, [Cd(HNOR) 2 ] n 2 , [Zn(HNOR) 2 •2H 2 O] 3 and [Zr 2 (NOR) 4 ] n •3nH 2 O 4 ( H 2 NOR = Norfloxacin ) were synthesized by hydrothermal process. The structures of the complexes were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The complexes were characterized by IR and elemental analysis. At the same time, photocatalytic hydrogen production using the composite material photocatalysts under the visible light were studied with respect to reaction solvent, the composite material photocatalysts complex 1/g-C 3 N 4 and complex 4/g-C 3 N 4 displayed excellent photocatalytic rate of hydrogen production.
