Abstract
The Commission for Democracy through Law, popularly known as the Venice Commission (VC) is part of the Council of Europe (CoE) dealing with constitutional and other legal matters of importance for democratic and rule of law development. The present article deals with the role of the VC in strengthening the rule of law in EU states.
