Melancolía y música intermedia (Melancholy and Intermedia Music)

Abstract

Spanish abstract: ¿Cómo reconocer una música melancólica? ¿Cómo definimos una música intermedia? ¿Cómo definimos el punto tal en que el lenguaje que denominamos música se encuentra en el límite entre lo definible (estructuralmente hablando), lo histórico (pensando en las escuelas, vanguardias y movimientos musicales), lo poéticamente expresable y lo que el espectador recibe e interpreta?. La música tal y como la conocemos ha tratado de ser definida de diversas maneras. Algunos aseguraron que es la expresión fonética referente a los hombres; otros la definen como la organización de sonidos agradables al oído; otros más piensan que es la práctica en la que el hombre al utilizar instrumentos musicales, organiza y expresa sentimientos; para unos más recientes consiste básicamente en la organización de los sonidos en el tiempo y el espacio, donde el límite es establecido por el emisor y el receptor

Spanish abstract: How to recognize a melancholy music? How do we define intermediate music? How do we define such a point that the language we call music is on the boundary between the definable (structurally speaking), the historical (thinking in schools, avant-garde and musical movements), the poetically expressible and what the viewer receives and plays?. Music as we know it has tried to be defined in various ways. Some said it's the phonetic expression concerning humans, others define it as the organization of sounds pleasing to the ear, others think it is the practice in which the man used musical instruments, organizes and expresses feelings for a recent is basically the organization of sounds in time and space, where the limit is set by the sender and the receiver.
