Abstract

Many people around the world are not aware of their rights, including the right for education. Gender can be considered to play a leading role in division of the groups who are and are not acceptable for getting proper education. Azerbaijan is one of the first countries in the Middle East that has given equal rights despite gender-related factors. The history of gender studies in Azerbaijan connects to the modern situation of women’s roles and responsibilities in the society.
