Abstract

This article seeks to enrich the scholarship on dissenting opinions. Conducting a qualitative textual analysis of dissenting opinions it offers a taxonomy of dissents, ranging from soft dissents to profound dissents. To illustrate this taxonomy this Article analyzes dissent opinions written by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Though focusing on a narrow aspect of her immense contribution to the law, this is a tribute to her legacy.
