Abstract
This article discusses the pedagogical challenges and opportunities present when attempting to incorporate aspects of comparative and international law into first-year Property. The article describes the call to incorporate these aspects and the difficulties in finding curricular and theoretical space for them in the property course. Examples dealing with the barrios of Caracas and the numerus clausus doctrine are followed by various suggestions for other possible substantive topics and sources.
