Abstract

This article covers various aspects of the development of spectrum management policy in the European Union. It is rather descriptive in nature, and provides an overview of various initiatives that led to the creation of the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT), the European Radiocommunications office (ERO), the Radio Spectrum Committee, and related authorities.
