Abstract

In this previously published paper, part of a symposium on the civil action reforms enacted by the Texas legislature in 2003, I examine the changes in the law relating to state venue, forum non conveniens and the statewide multidistrict transfer and consolidation provisions (which are akin, at the state level, to 28 U.S.C. 1407, the federal MDL statute).
