Abstract

Migration and urbanization contribute largely to the spread and increasing prevalence of Sexually Transmitted Diseases in China. Although many Chinese today are enjoying the benefits of positive change and the new possibilities associated with China's 'opening-up', there are accompanying fears about the downsides of modernity also. The present effort attempts at bringing the aforesaid linkages in some details to the fore.
