Abstract

In a recent article, Professors Fred Zacharias and Bruce Green erroneously wrote that Henry Lord Brougham had repudiated his famous statement on the advocate's duty of zealous representation. I wrote a response for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, pointing out the error. Instead of simply acknowledging the mistake and moving on with their main point, Zacharias and Green have written a response, attempting to justify their error. This reply attempts to put the issue finally to rest.
