The Interactive Causality between Education and Economic Growth in China

Abstract
Human capital was advanced by development economists and solved three puzzles in the development economics. During the last thirty years, stock of human capital is increasing significantly along with the rapid development in China. This paper is going to find out whether there is relationship between economic growth and human-capital accumulation. By analyzing the causality and cointegration between education and gross national product (GDP), it indicates that economy development is the cause of higher education and result of primary education.
