Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance

The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ invites applications for a tenure-track position in Finance in the areas of financial econometrics, market microstructure, and corporate finance at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning August 2018. This position is part of the School's strategic plan of strengthening the finance and economics disciplines in a business school with an emphasis at the intersection of business, technology and analytics.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have earned a Ph.D., or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Business Administr ation, Management, Financial Economics, or a closely related field, a potential for excellence in research and teaching. Degree requirements must be completed before September 2018.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Members of our faculty are expected to conduct original research of exceptionally high quality, to teach effectively, and to participate in and contribute to the academic environment. Candidates are expected to teach courses in Finance at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and must have commitment to research leading to top scholarly publications. The university offers a competitive teaching load and excellent support for faculty research.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL: The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology has a special focus on finance, analytics, information systems, and technology and encourages interdisciplinary research.
