This is the call for papers for the 4th edition of the Spring Finance Workshop, jointly organized by the University of Luxembourg and McGill University. This annual workshop prioritizes high-quality research by selecting a limited number of papers and offers two awards for the best paper and the best discussion. The conference provides an inclusive environment where both established and emerging scholars in finance engage in vibrant and open discussions.
We enthusiastically invite academic paper submissions across various finance domains, encompassing interdisciplinary explorations in law and finance, sustainability, and emerging financial technologies. Recent editions of the workshop included participants from Boston College, Boston University, Carnegie Mellon, Chicago Booth, Columbia, HEC Paris, LBS, LSE, Maryland, MIT, Northwestern, NYU, Toronto, UBC, UCLA, Wharton, and Yale. SUBMISSION:
Please submit your paper at www.springfinanceworkshop.com. The submission fee is 65 EUR paid via Paypal. The pdf file should be labeled LASTNAME-SPRINGFINANCE-2025.pdf, where the last name should be the one of the submitting author. The closing date for submissions is October 27. Participants will be notified of the program selection in December.
LOCATION:
The workshop will take place in Ischgl, located in the Paznaun valley in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The workshop will be held at the Hotel Post, which is in the heart of the village (www.post-ischgl.com).
FEES AND EXPENSES:
There are no fees for the workshop and the conference dinner.
Travel and hotel expenses are not covered.
TRAVEL INFORMATION:
The closest airports are the international airports of Innsbruck (Austria), Munich (Germany), and Zurich (Switzerland). In general, participants find it most convenient to land in Zurich/Munich and either share a car or take the train.
