Conference date

Location

LMU, Munich, Germany

Description

The LMU Munich School of Management is looking forward to hosting the first Open TRR 266 Conference. The goal of this conference is to bring together researchers from within and outside the TRR 266 to discuss current research in the area of accounting, taxation, and transparency. The conference will take place at the historical and beautiful LMU campus in downtown Munich.

The TRR 266 Accounting for Transparency is a transregional Collaborative Research Center funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft – DFG) and was established in July 2019. The team of more than 100 dedicated researchers examines how accounting and taxation affect firm and regulatory transparency and how regulation and transparency impact our economy and society. With their findings, the researchers intend to help develop effective regulation for firm transparency and a transparent tax system.

We invite all researchers (from outside and within the TRR 266) to submit their more mature papers from all methodological angles. Please submit your paper until December 1, 2024 via mail to Katharina Weiß (weiss@lmu.de). We will inform you about our decision of your submission until February 1, 2025.

The Open TRR 266 Conference is your opportunity to connect with your colleagues within and outside the TRR 266. Please register online until March 15, 2025. There is no registration fee.
